Waiting on God When You're Hurting

Waiting on God When You're Hurting

I've been hurting for a long time. I've been through a lot of pain and loss. I've felt like God has abandoned me.

But I know that's not true. God is still with me. He's still loving me. He's still working in my life.

I'm just having a hard time waiting on Him. I want things to be better now. I want the pain to go away. I want to feel like I'm not alone.

But I know that God has a plan for my life. And I know that His timing is perfect.

So I'm trying to be patient. I'm trying to trust God. I'm trying to believe that He's good, even when I don't feel like it.

I know that waiting on God is hard. But it's also a time of growth. It's a time to learn to trust God more. It's a time to learn to rely on Him more.

So if you're hurting, and you're waiting on God, I want you to know that you're not alone. I'm right there with you.

And I want you to know that God is good. He's faithful. He's loving. And He's never going to leave you or forsake you.

So keep waiting on Him. Keep trusting Him. Keep believing in Him.

He's got a plan for your life. And He's going to work everything out for your good.

Here are some verses from the Bible that have helped me when I'm waiting on God:

  • Psalm 37:7: "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices."
  • Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
  • Lamentations 3:25-26: "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord."

I hope these verses encourage you as you're waiting on God. Remember, He's good. He's faithful. He's loving. And He's never going to leave you or forsake you.

Here are some practical tips for waiting on God:

  • Pray. Prayer is the most important thing you can do when you're waiting on God. Talk to Him about your pain, your fears, and your hopes.
  • Read the Bible. The Bible is full of stories of people who waited on God, and it can give you hope and encouragement.
  • Spend time in nature. Being in nature can help you to connect with God and to find peace and tranquility.
  • Surround yourself with supportive people. Having people who love and support you can make a big difference when you're going through a difficult time.
